Through Praying
Implementing the vision and mission of First Nations Gospel Storyers as described on this site will require partnerships. We recognize that our most significant partnership is with God. He has commissioned us, filled and empowered us for His mission – this mission.
We need prayer partners who will pray with us for the advance of the Gospel in First Nations communities, interceding for us in our labor. When you agree to pray with us, we will provide you with regular ministry updates to report what God has done and specific ways you can pray for the advance of the Gospel among First Nations people.

Through Going
We need physical partners to multiply our efforts of proclaiming the Gospel through Bible stories in First Nations communities. First Nations Bible Storyers will work to facilitate connections between churches and mission efforts in First Nations communities which are committed to using Bible storying methods and individuals and teams wanting to partner with them.

Through Giving
We need financial partners. God provided the funds needed to birth First Nations Gospel Storyers through our own personal resources, through gifts from an individual donor, and through a gift from a network of Southern Baptist churches in Virginia. But in order for First Nations Gospel Storyers to carry out
its mission in keeping with its ministry design, we need financial partners led by God to fuel the mission with resources He has entrusted to your stewardship.
Our ministry expenses for each of the first three years of ministry is projected to be $12,000 per year. No one is receiving personal support from First Nations Gospel Storyers in these first years of ministry. Our personal support comes from my missionary work with the SBC of Virginia and Ann’s work as a special education teacher. One hundred percent of the funds received will fund the operational budget for the ministry.
Your financial gifts will make possible the creation, publication, and distribution
of Bible stories and Bible story sets in the form of electronic documents and videos – created specifically for use in First Nations communities. Your gifts will make it possible to offer training, ministry coaching, and personal care for those who are working in reservation and urban tribal communities. Your gifts will
make it possible for Ann and I to personally travel to First Nations communities
across North America to strengthen local churches already ministering there, and
to discover where God is at work and inviting us to join Him in making disciples and starting new church in new First Nations communities.
First Nations Gospel Storyers has received 501c3 non-profit status from the IRS,
making your gifts to this ministry tax deductible. The ministry is furthermore
under the direction of a 6-member board of directors who oversee ministry operations and spending. Regular ministry updates are provided to all donors to provide a means for you to rejoice in the fruit of your ministry investments.

Note: Because of my employment with the SBC of Virginia, First Nations Gospel Storyers does not seek nor will we receive financial contributions from the churches of the SBCV or their members. We do this to prevent any appearance of conflict in ministry interests, and more importantly to protect the sacred trust the churches of the SBCV have placed in me as one of its funded missionaries. Rather I would ask that my SBCV ministry partners intercede for the ministry of First Nations Gospel Storyers and join us in Native America by way of sending missionaries and mission teams from your church. It would be our joy to help you take the Gospel to First Nations communities using Bible storying methodology.
